Stockholm offers a unique meeting place for sustainable road transports : more than one in every ten new car sold in Sweden today are considered « clean cars » and there are more than 800 re-fuelling stations for biofuels throughout the country.

The aim of the meeting Clean Vehicles and Fuels Symposium and Exhibition 2007 is to gather various stakeholders involved in this area. Along different sessions, manufacturers, dealers and users of different types of clean vehicles, biofuels producers and distributors, researchers and political decision makers will discuss numerous questions (political supports, the potential of the market, vehicules and biofuels technological developpments). A technical tour with guided visits to Stockholm Public Transport, to a biogaz production plant and to a biogas and bioethanol re-fuelling station is also offered on the 7th of November, between 16h and 18h30. A separate exhibition is opened and will be held in the same buiding as the symposium, where clean vehicle manufacturers, biofuel producers and distributors, sustainable transport companies will display their products and ideas.
