At Le Furet du Nord, on october 8 2007, at 17h, Jacques Barrot will sign his last book « L’Europe n’est pas ce que vous croyez », (Europe is not what you think) Albin Michel, march 2003. It will be the opportunity for him to be invited by Pierre Mauroy to visit the most important Organic Waste Valorization Center in Europe, that has just been opened in Sequedin on the 20th september. There is no doubt that the European Commissioner for Transport will be interested in this tour : on the 25th september, Jacques Barrot presented an european green paper entitled « Towards a New Culture for Urban Mobility ». That paper is the first step of a consultation phase with all the stakeholders untill the 15th march 2008. The Commission intends to publish these conclusions in the Automn of 2008.
