The Institute of Solar Technology for Energy Production (ISET) and a partner of the European project Biogasmax, proposes a conference that will deal with the various aspects of scientific, technological, economic, legislative and political conditions concerning the upgrading of biogas to bio-methane. This conference is addressed to the various parties involved who are interested in bio-methane use. The conference will take place on February 21, 2008 at Kassel University in Germany.

As partner of the European project Biogasmax, the ISET has noticed an interest growing in the development of biogas into bio-methane (to be distributed through the natural gas network or as bio-fuel for vehicles), as well as the increase of future bio-methane producing sites or those already under construction.

For those who are curious about the usage of bio-methane, the institute of Solar Technology for Energy Production (ISET) proposes a conference which will be organized in several segments. This conference will answer questions which often raises diverse issues. For example, in “the economic and legislative segment various experts from different nationalities will intervene and speak about bio-methane use that has been established in other countries for quite some time. The “technological stage will speak about scientists dealing with bio-gas technology and evaluating the existing operating plants. And finally, the “Pragmatic stage will cover the various practical aspects of biomethanisation, such as finding future sites, optimum plant capacity, and plant profitability, and much more!

This conference will begin on February 21, 2008 at 10:00 am, at Kassel University in Germany.
